For St. Petersburg's CASA, food has become a priority at its new 100-bed domestic violence center.
To help with donations, the organization is hosting its inaugural Soup-er Bowl, which encourages locals to integrate mini food drives into their functions at work, Super Bowl parties and more throughout January and February.
Nonperishable food items (canned soups, boxed cereal and the like), checks and supermarket gift cards are requested, and a list of drop-off locations are available online.
