Tacos and guac and tequila – oh my! To set the stage, Cinco de Mayo is the holiday that honors the victory of the Mexican armed forces over the French army at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. But for us Americans, it's the best excuse to drink immense amounts of cerveza (Spanish for "beer") and load up on salsa and cheesy queso.
