Flirty foodies will find their hearts a’swoon at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, and Sunday, Feb. 8, when the annual Clearwater Beach Uncorked food and wine festival pours, and dishes, some love.
In its fourth year, the two-day outdoor celebration — held at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa — functions as a wintry pre-Valentine’s Day party for those who feel like poppin’ bottles. During the beachside event, festgoers’ toes will likely have nothing to fear (except, perhaps, the occasional treacherous seashell).
As folks sample various wines, craft brews and local eateries’ light bites, sweet and savory, the Food Network’s Emily Ellyn will be among the chefs showing ‘em how it’s done during her Brew-B-Que cooking session.
Florida Breweries author Gerard Walen and Hefty Nascar driver Eric McClure will also make appearances.
Admission costs $45, and a portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit the USF Sarasota-Manatee College of Hospitality and Technology Leadership.
