In Clearwater Beach, a couple of luxury hotels recently joined forces with Sea Dog Brewing Co. to help their guests cool down with a pint or two. How? Well, the Clearwater brewery has developed an exclusive line of craft beers for Opal Sands Resort and Sandpearl Resort.
Deep Blue IPA and Deep Blue Tangerine Wheat are both on tap at Sandpearl’s Caretta on the Gulf and Tate Island Grill, while Sea-Guini and Sandbar are where beer enthusiasts must go to land either draft from Opal Sands.
“Medium-bodied” and “crisp” are how the Opal Collection hotels describe the triple-hopped IPA, which features citrus and floral spices. The tangerine wheat, on the other hand, is light, fruity and earthy “with a balanced, clean and dry finish.”
