There's a new local dining club that allows Tampa Bay residents to drink and dine at their favorite restaurants and bars — all while saving some dough.
Launched to the St. Petersburg and Clearwater area in December, Club Savor offers half-off entrees and half-off adult beverages to members and their guests. A membership, which can be purchased online, costs $29.95 per month, and each member is allowed to bring one guest to enjoy dine-in deals on the daily (both guests get a drink and an entree), as long as members present their electronic ID to their server.
A "pro tip" identified in the dining club's FAQ section advises members to save the Club Savor website to the home screen of their phones for easy access to their IDs.
The FAQ is full of other dos and don'ts, but here's the gist: a membership can't be paired with any other specials or discounts; multiple visits to the same location must be separated by a three-hour wait period; members can, however, go from one location to a different location back-to-back; no one can use your membership but you; and tips should be based off a bill's amount before discounts are applied.
Club Savor's growing list of participating bars and restaurants includes Silas Steakhouse, Sea Critters, Meze 119, CD Roma Restaurant, The Blue Goose, Buya Ramen, O'Maddy's Bar & Grille, Mastry's Brewing Co., Hamburger Mary's, Ferg's Sports Bar, Angry Pepper and St. Petersburg Brewing Co.
