On Nov. 10, Collective Arts Brewing will launch distribution across Florida through a partnership with Lakeland’s Cavalier Distributing. The brewery, based in Hamilton, Ontario, is known for fusing its beer creativity with the talents of artists and musicians.
Retailers like Whole Foods Market and Total Wine & More will carry Collective Arts’ core brands (think Life in the Clouds IPA and Stranger Than Fiction Porter) and a rotating lineup of small-batch brews year-round, as will bars and restaurants in Tampa, St. Petersburg, Miami, Orlando and Jacksonville.
To commemorate its statewide expansion, Collective Arts has teamed up with a quartet of Miami artists to develop limited-edition cans. The brewery plans to keep the merriment going by hosting a week’s worth of events, featuring tap takeovers, live music and art installations. Local celebrations are scheduled for Mermaid Tavern and Independent Bar and Cafe in Seminole Heights, St. Pete’s Indie, Willard’s Tap House in Largo, and Wesley Chapel’s Buttermilk Provisions.
What’s more, Collective Arts brewmaster Ryan Morrow will collaborate with Ybor City’s Tampa Bay Brewing Co. while in town for the launch.
“Craft beer drinkers love to experiment with new and innovative beers. We’re committed to providing them with a one-of-a-kind beer experience through the creative collision of our beers, art and music,” said Matt Johnston, co-founder and CEO of Collective Arts, in statement. “With our event at Art Basel 2018 and the progressive art community in Miami, along with the thriving craft beer scene in Florida, we think it’s an exciting spot for us to dive in and integrate our beers.”
