While everyone was celebrating in the Pride festivities in St. Pete, Creative Soul Studio was closing shop for good at 2425 Central Avenue.

The coffee house doubled as an art gallery and hub for local artists to connect and creative under one roof.

Creative Soul's Facebook explained that the cafe welcomed, "all artists, all writers, all conversationalists…all everyone. Sit, drink, look, contemplate, relate, discuss and someday you may be the legend spoken of and inspired by in a coffee house far and away in the future."

Creative Soul would host live entertainment weekly, and customers could sip coffee or wine while enjoying art of every variety. The concept recently hosted a Pride Showcase with Deb Ruby, Duas, Tenea Johnson and MeyandeM on June 21.

The cafe's Facebook page is still up and running, but the phones are going unanswered and their website is no longer active.
