Dal Moro’s Fresh Pasta To Go was supposed to open in Tampa Bay late last year, but, you know, COVID-19 happened, and things change, so after much anticipation, the restaurant will now open some time in the spring on the 600 Block of downtown St. Petersburg, across the street from Pacific Counter.

“It is the first of its kind and truly a revolutionary way to enjoy fresh pasta without the need to sit down at a formal restaurant,” David Caruso, Dal Moro’s St. Pete franchisee, wrote in a press release. “We are very proud to be able to bring this fabulous idea to the United States and finally open.”

Italian food lovers can delight themselves in Dal Moro’s wide variety of fresh pastas and homemade (and made-from-scratch) sauces served in to-go boxes within minutes. Beer and wine plus homemade tiramisu are also on the menu.

This will be Dal Moro’s first U.S. franchise. There are plans to open more locations in Southwest Florida before expanding across the country.

Dal Moro’s will set up shop at 653 Central Ave. and be open for lunch and dinner Sunday 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Thursday 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-2 a.m.
