It’s shaping up to be a great year for waterfront destination Sparkman Wharf with new concepts like 7th & Grove South and upcoming eateries including C House-related concept The Battery, Noble Rice, and Murph’s BBQ. The latest addition to the list is health-conscious, superfood concept Fit Bowl Co. Superfood Bar.
“2021 has already been a banner year for Sparkman Wharf, with seven new retail leases signed since January,” Strategic Property Partners Vice President of Retail and Place Management Susan Martin, wrote in a press release. “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Fit Bowl Co. and introduce a new dining concept that is sure to become another popular healthy option for the growing number of people who live in, work in and visit Water Street Tampa every day.”
The restaurant will move into one of the shipping containers that previously housed Blind Tiger Coffee Roasters. Guests can order quick, healthy bites like acai bowls, smoothies, vegan soft serve. Adult treats like prosecco and sorbet floats are the menu, too.
“Fit Bowl Co. prides itself on creating delicious meals and snacks crafted from wholesome ingredients and nutritious superfoods, and we look forward to becoming the new go-to spot to grab a quick, healthy bite (or a less-guilty treat) at Sparkman Wharf,” said Fit Bowl Co. owner Trent McAree.
According to a recent Facebook post, the location is slated to open next month.
“THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG! We’re so excited to be headed to Sparkman Wharf!!,” it said. “We have tons of new items rolling out! Opening mid April!”
This will be the restaurant’s second location, joining the one located on Davis Island at 214 E Davis Blvd—tucked into a tiny nook next to DI Coffee Bar. Until the newest one opens, stop by or order online Wednesday-Sunday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
