The nationally observed Dining Out For Life, which made its way to to the Bay area a few years ago, will return Thursday to raise money for a local AIDS service organization: the AIDS Service Association of Pinellas.
Acting as a fundraiser, the event encourages diners — or, even better, a group of diners — to visit an assortment of area restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner (depending on where you go) throughout the day; after a meal, the dining spots will donate 25 percent of the cost of every bill to fight against HIV/AIDS.
While Happy’s Bayou Bites, Smokin’ J’s Real Texas BBQ, The Queens Head, and Gratzzi Italian Grille are some of the participating eateries, the full list can be found online.
And remember: Don’t skip dessert.
