Hosted at Green Bench Brewing Co., the event will feature specialty small plates from nine EDGE eateries: Bavaro’s, Brooklyn South, Cafe 1001, Bodega on Central, Red Mesa Mercado, Hawkers Asian Street Fare, Ferg’s Sports Bar, Ricky P’s Orleans Bistro, and Kings Street Food Counter. Green Bench will pair its signature brews and, in collaboration with The Bends, beer cocktails with the grub.
The event’s “fashion stroll” will present stylings from five nearby boutiques alongside live music, and Kings will also act as the after-party venue beginning at 9 p.m.
Proceeds from the food and beer sales will benefit the EDGE District’s nationally accredited Main Street program, which leads its revitalization efforts. Tasting tickets are still available online.
