So May is National Burger Month — and National Salad Month. Coincidence?

Who knows, but instead of giving out a recipe for, like, a cheeseburger quinoa salad to make at home, St. Pete Beach's Don CeSar has started offering not one but six burgers in honor of the duel food holiday. And each of them has some green stuff on top, so, you know, the best of both worlds.

Whether dining at the in-house Sea Porch or Rowe Bar, patrons can choose from luxurious burgers like the Don, Big Shorty and Rowe Your Boat, topped with fancy ingredients like slow roast short rib, Sriracha bacon, Gruyère, Wagyu beef and foie gras ganache. There's also simpler options such as A Reel Catch with lump crab, cilantro, mango slaw and Creole aioli. (No veggie patties, though.)

The Pink Palace's six featured burgers are available through May 31. However, if they're not quite your style, celebrating Burger Month with the Best Burger readers' poll winners from the past five years of CL's Best of the Bay is always an option.
