To help provide clean water and end the global water crisis, Tampa’s Pepin Distributing has teamed up with Stella Artois and Water.org for the “Buy A Lady A Drink” campaign.
For every limited-edition Stella chalice purchased, Water.org, which works to bring safe water to folks worldwide, will supply five years of clean water to one person in Africa, Asia, Latin America or the Caribbean.
Pepin pledged to buy 300 chalices, equalling 1,500 years of clean water for 300 people. Locals can get involved by purchasing their own $13 glass (they choose from a new set of cups designed by three influential artists from Cambodia, Brazil and Uganda). Picking up a six- or 12-pack of Stella at participating Tampa-area retailers. Or ordering a Stella pint or bottle at participating Tampa bars and restaurants: World of Beer Westchase, International Beer Garten, Edwards Cigar Bar, House of Brews, Total Wine & More off Dale Mabry Highway (whose promotion starts this weekend), and Franklin Manor.
Through the campaign, launched in 2015, Stella has helped 800,000-plus people receive access to five years of clean water by selling more than 225,000 chalices and donating more than $3 million to Water.org.
