In honor of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Lee Roy Selmon's and Glory Days Grill locations in Florida are collaborating with Because of Ezra to raise funds, and awareness, for childhood cancer research.

Because of Ezra — started by Robyn and Kyle Matthews of Tampa after they lost their son, Ezra, to Stage IV neuroblastoma — will receive $1 for each lemonade and takeout order of 12 wings or more sold at the restaurants throughout September. Meanwhile, diners will snag a free Because of Ezra awareness wristband for their participation.

Selmon's has five restaurants around the region, including Sarasota, while Glory Days has two: one in New Tampa and another in Palm Harbor. Sometime in fall, the third Glory Days is expected to open at 9900 Fourth St. N. in St. Petersburg.
