This week, Dunedin’s reborn Fenway Hotel is looking to hire more than 100 full- and part-time staff members at its hospitality job fair.
The new property with 83 guest rooms and suites from Tampa-based Mainsail Lodging & Development will put a big emphasis on food and drink — offering private dining options and an open-kitchen bar at the chef-driven restaurant, HEW Parlor & Chophouse, plus a nice view of St. Joseph Sound from covered rooftop bar Hi-Fi.
The job fair, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, takes place at 280 Locklie St., which is home to the Taoist Tai Chi Society of the USA behind the hotel. Food and beverage manager, sous chef, server, restaurant host, prep cook, dishwasher and bartender are among the culinary-related positions that the Fenway aims to fill.
Interested candidates can access applications online in advance (or in person during the job fair), and they’re also asked to come prepared with their résumés.
The Fenway is slated to open at 453 Edgewater Drive in fall.
