Next month, the FISH Dinner Series won't just be feeding you.

The inaugural FISH (short for Food Industry Stopping Hunger) dinner will showcase responsible alternatives to endangered fish populations to benefit Feeding Tampa Bay. Hosted at Tampa's Oystercatchers from 6 to 10 p.m. Nov. 1, the event is also meant to educate diners on sustainable seafood consumption.

Guests can expect a collaborative five-course menu from a handful of notable Bay area chefs: Adam Schaeffer of Oystercatchers, Ferrell Alvarez of Rooster & the Till, Parkshore Grill's Tyson Grant, Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay's Byron Gable and Robert Maggie of Armani's. Highlighting creative and thoughtful dishes, each course will be paired with a signature cocktail.

A portion of the meal's proceeds will go to Feeding Tampa Bay, which serves nearly 841,000 people in the area. Tickets cost $125 and may be purchased online in advance.

Editor's note: The FISH Dinner Series has since been canceled.
