Less than a decade old, Florida Avenue Brewing Co. recently was announced as the Best Large Brewery in the 2019 Best Florida Beer Championship, during Tampa Bay Beer Week.
A panel of judges of industry professionals awarded Florida Avenue with the title after it snagged numerous gold, silver or bronze medals for its craft brews. In fact, the brewery took two golds for its Never Too Late for Summer Watermelon Lime Berliner Weisse and Passion of the Heights Hibiscus Wheat Ale.
Florida Ave. also walked away with a bronze for its Florida Avenue Lager.
