A year ago, Creative Loafing reported Florida Avenue Brewing was expanding to a new, larger location in Wesley Chapel. The brewery announced in a Facebook post they officially opened last month.
“It's truly amazing to see the Wesley Chapel community out and about. We have made a few changes since last week to better serve our guests,” Florida Avenue Brewing wrote.
The brewery’s Beer Garden is equipped with plenty of Adirondack chairs and lounge furniture for drinks after work. Outdoor seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis so reservations are strongly recommended; guests can make those here. Complimentary valet is available every Thursday-Sunday.
The new brewery location sits off SR-56 at 2029 Arrowgrass Dr. Hours of operation are Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
What’s more is that Seminole Heights’ Brew Bus and Florida Avenue Brewing Co. will relocate to a new 3,000-sq. ft. space just a few addresses away from the old spot.
On Monday, Brew Bus and Florida Avenue Brewing Co. Founder & CEO Anthony Derby confirmed to Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that 4315 N. Florida Avenue will be the new Brew Bus Brewing location, adding that it will have a large patio.
"We are expecting the site to be ready in Summer 2021. We have extended our lease at our current facility until summer 2021 to make sure it's a smooth transition. It will include the tasting room, full kitchen, brewery, and outdoor patio," Derby wrote. "We are excited about the new facility as it will serve as our research and development hub for both brands. Lots of special and one off brews coming soon!"
By the way, after you’re done enjoying your beers in Wesley Chapel, head over to gourmet cookie store Crumbl Cookies at 25922 Sierra Center Blvd. Wesley Chapel's new specialty cookie flavors rotate weekly but their famous milk chocolate chip and chilled sugar cookie are mainstays. Find the cookie spot open Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.-10 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 8 a.m.-midnight.
