What a kickoff to the first annual Tampa Bay Beer Week, as Centro Ybor transformed itself into a three-block veritable beer garden this past Saturday! Craft beer lovers sniffed, swirled, tasted and pondered an array of brews from both local brewers as close as Tampa Bay Brewing Company (on the premises) to out-of-state establishments like Sierra Nevada (Chico, California) and Sam Adams (Boston, Massachusetts).
Adorned in beer-related t-shirts and handcrafted "pretzel" necklaces, supporters of the sold-out event sported smiles and good moods, and happily celebrated one of Tampa Bay's best kept secrets: award-winning craft brews.
