On Monday CL reported that supermarkets are shortening hours to restock and sanitize shelves. Now it looks like some are going the extra mile to keep those who are most susceptible to coronavirus as safe as possible.

Target and The Fresh Market have carved out an hour of morning shopping for seniors and those with underlying health conditions. Target will open its doors solely to those shoppers the first hour of business on Wednesdays, while Fresh Market will do so every weekday from 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

Beginning Wednesday, March 18, Publix stores are opening an hour later and running from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Target announced that it is now closing at 9 p.m.

Order grocery pickup, try your best to social distance while shopping and be mindful of your cart.
