Next Saturday, RyGuy's Chicken and Waffles is celebrating its new location inside James Joyce Irish Pub & Eatery with free beer available with the purchase of a chicken and waffles plate from 9 p.m.-midnight. RyGuy's owner, Ryan Gougeon took to Facebook to share the event going down on Saturday, February 1, "As a reward to ALL my loyal muthacluckaz out there I am doing KILL THE KEG FREE from 9-midnight! Order any chicken & Waffles dish, and you drink FREE!"
Formerly known as RyRy's Chicken and Waffles, whose last home was at 11124 N. 30th St. in Tampa complete with a red carpet, is known for serving an array of loaded chicken and waffle plate variations from sweet to savory.
We're not quite sure how this new partnership will work out being that James Joyce is known for their wings and stacked food menu, but we have faith that when booze is involved, the more food options the better.
Make the opening event your night out on the town with James Joyce's massive brew list, RyGuy's at the fryer and DJ DEZ spinning from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. Oh, and there will also be giveaways throughout the evening. You might want to have your rideshare app handy.
