Food fiestas up for grabs during third Holiday Auction round

There's still time to place bids for second-week CL Holiday Auction items, including the neat Savory Spice Shop gift set and Sirata Beach Resort-Compass Grille combo, but don't miss out on the third round's goodies, either.

Ybor City's beloved music hotspot New World Brewery is offering a pizza party package of five pies and 10 pints, and Hablo Taco, located in Tampa's Channel District, has a 10-person Mexican fiesta up for grabs. The fiesta will feature a tasty platter and an hour of bottomless margarita from the restaurant's signature Cuervo Margarita Fountain.

At Cigar City Cider and Mead, a winning bidder will craft five-gallon treatments of cider and mead with cider master Jared Gilbert, then return to drink their creations in the Ybor taproom with nine guests. After the tasting celebration, Cigar City Cider and Mead will send the victor home with two 32-ounce growlers of cider, two bottles of mead and swag.

In Tampa's SoHo neighborhood, the Epicurean Hotel has a one-night stay and $150 budget toward a lesson inside the on-site theater classroom featured. Cocktail classes from director of spirits Dean Hurst and cooking demonstrations from local culinary stalwarts have been offered in the past.
