It’s not everyday you pass by a restaurant and see the Food Network cameras out and about in Tampa Bay. The most recent visit was back in 2017 when Guy Fieri and his old-school red Camaro were spotted at St. Pete’s Buya Ramen. This week, celebrity chef and TV personality Robert Irvine visits Seminole Heights’ restaurant Mr. B’s Restaurant for an episode on his show “Restaurant Impossible.”

Mr. B’s Restaurant announced yesterday it will be closed for filming and reopen later this week.

“Due to the recording of the hit show Restaurant Impossible, Mr. B’s will be closed March 8,9, and 10. We will reopen on Thursday March 11th regular hours,” said an Instagram post.

Creative Loafing Tampa Bay found a Facebook event for the re-grand opening of the restaurant this Wednesday at 7 p.m.

“Come dine with us and be one of the first patrons to see the newly renovated space,” the event said.

Mr. B’s Restaurant is located at 3401 N Nebraska Ave. It’s regular business hours are Sundays-Thursdays 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 8 a.m.-7 p.m. It’s open for takeout, dine-in, and delivery via Grubhub, Yelp and UberEats.
