Not long after an article came out about "how cool Jacksonville is being right now," Food & Wine has shown Tampa's food scene some much-deserved love.

Unsurprisingly, the celebrated magazine's most recent coverage on Cigar City recognized the two buzzed-about food halls that're now open in Tampa Heights: The Hall on Franklin and Heights Public Market at Armature Works. The industrial Heights Public Market launched last week along the Hillsborough River, while the European-inspired Hall premiered on the evolving Franklin Street back in fall (August, to be exact).

Here's a little taste of the author's shout-out, but do check out the piece in full:

"Tampa, at the heart of [Tampa Bay], has demonstrated in recent years that it's hungry for more, and it's getting what it wants… from memorable meals at restaurants like Rooster & The Till and Ulele, to those award-winning beers at Cigar City Brewing (which operates a tasting room relatively close to both food halls, you might like to know), can Tampa's breakout moment be far away? We're certainly paying attention."
