Hey, Westchase. You get your own Ford's Garage the week of Aug. 15. The latest Bay area location for the Fort Myers-born gourmet burger and craft beer chain, whose Wesley Chapel outpost opened earlier this year, is located at 10413 Sheldon Road in Tampa, right in front Costco.
"Since early 2017, we've been working to prepare for this expansion. We are excited to introduce our innovative and entertaining dining experience to new friends in Westchase and its surrounding areas," said Marc Brown, managing partner, in a statement.
Menu items from the the service station-themed restaurant include prebuilt and create-your-own burgers, with patty options like Kobe beef, bison, ahi tuna and grilled portobello, alongside comfort food dishes such as fish and chips, four kinds of mac and meatloaf. There's also a shareable burger known as Henry Ford's Hub Cap: 10 pounds of Black Angus, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion and "pickle planks."
Yeah, do what you will with that.
Additional Ford's Garage locations are planned for Clearwater's Countryside area, downtown St. Pete, Lakeland and Orlando. Oh, and the Dearborn, Michigan, restaurant, the chain's first outside Florida, recently made its debut, too.
