Citing the coronavirus outbreak and issues with the landlord, local joe purveyors Foundation Coffee announced the closure of their Tampa Heights location this week.
In an Instagram post from Monday night, the company said they were forced to close the Franklin Street location indefinitely, but hope to open again in the future.
“It is with an extremely heavy heart that we have to announce the closing of our Tampa Heights location indefinitely,” reads the post. “Due to some issues with our land lord and the unfortunate timing of Covid-19, we are forced to close the doors at our Tampa Heights location.”
Located at 1607 N. Franklin St, the Tampa Heights location opened in August of 2016. The company says its Riverview location is still open, and invited the public to come say hello.
“Please come by, see our staff, and say goodbye to the great memories that we and you have all had this shop,” continued the post. “We appreciate all the love and support over the years, and we hope that you all will continue to support us in Riverview and beyond! We love all of you, and thank you for all of the love during this time.”
