This Sunday (August 24), Pollo Tropical will give anyone wrapped in something — beach towel, blanket, an aura of hate and remorse — one of its new Cuban Wrap items. The promotion runs from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at all five Bay area Pollo locations (see below for addresses).
Worth it? Well, it's free and you don't need to engineer some sort of flamenco dancin' chicken costume, so sure. Plus, each free wrap also gives the Tampa Boys and Girls Clubs a free meal for after school programs.
If you're a tad picky no matter the price, here's the PR on the wrap:
The Cuban Wrap boasts generous portions of Pollo Tropicals famous Roast Pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and a special mayo-mustard sauce all wrapped up in a flatbread. The Cuban Wrap is available exclusively in the Tampa Bay area and joins an already impressive line of Premium Island Wraps.
Looks like Tampa is the test market for yet another chain. Score another one for our lowest-common-denominator, average Joe populace!
