GameTime is back.

The Florida-based family entertainment center at 1600 E. 8th Ave. in Ybor City, which closed its doors in early November for renovations, has reopened with an updated feel.

According to CEO Mike Abecassis, business slowed as the center became less exciting and new. But after a $1 million remodel — which included a fresh restaurant, sports bar, menu selections and four mini bowling lanes, among other improvements — GameTime is "now new to any guest who hasn't been there for a while."

On Saturday and Sunday, the spot will host a "welcome back weekend," where the Dine N' Play Combo (patrons choose from items like grilled chicken melts and fettuccine Alfredo, and then enjoy an hour of, well, game time) will be discounted to $12.99. Two-for-one deals on wine and beer, served daily, will also be available.

GameTime is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m Sunday through Wednesday; 11 a.m to 12 a.m. Thursday; and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m Friday and Saturday.
