The doors of Brandon's Taqueria Doña Maria have closed. But locals will continue to enjoy its popular (and dreamy-looking) Mexican cuisine — on wheels.
Last week, the family-owned restaurant formerly at 865 Lithia Pinecrest Road revealed the closure on Facebook with a silver lining: Taqueria Doña Maria plans to live on as a food truck. The transition will allow the restaurant to reach more people locally with its medley of family recipes and fresh ingredients, according to the announcement.
Taqueria Doña Maria launched in 2013, specializing in Baja-style Mexican dishes. Stay updated on the truck's progress through Facebook.
