St. Pete Beach’s Grand Hacienda has started working on its second Mexican restaurant locally. The new location is planned for the corner of Fourth Street North and 11th Avenue in St. Petersburg.
An official opening date hasn’t been announced yet, but Grand Hacienda — which is the kind of place where your first order of chips and salsa is on the house — is hiring for all positions. All of those “soons” in the Facebook update above is a good sign, too.
With several options for vegetarian and gluten-free patrons, Grand Hacienda serves up a large something-for-everyone menu. There are starters (yep, including tableside guac), salads, seafood and steak entrees, quesadillas, tacos, burritos, house specialties like chile relleno and the carnitas chimichanga, and even burgers.
The restaurant, which debuted on the beach last year, also offers bottled and draft beer, plus wine. Here’s to hoping the St. Pete outpost snags a liquor license.
