The Coppertail Brewing Co.’s kitchen has revamped its menu with a focus on hand-made items. That means pickling everything in-house, smoking meats and fish, making sausage and curing bacon on-site. According to a recent release, the menu better reflects the brewery and brings in an element of Florida and the South.

Guests can expect to see a heavy emphasis on small plates like wings, dips and loaded waffle fries alongside a selection of bar snacks like a massive soft pretzel with Free Dive beer cheese dip, house-pickled veggies, cheese boards and boiled peanuts. There are also a few hand-cranked sausage options for $12 each—garlic kielbasa, green chili and lamb.

There are also pulled pork sliders dry-rubbed, smoked, bread and butter onions and Carolina vinegar sauce on brioche buns (pictured above). Diners can opt for pulled jackfruit instead for a vegan option. Other slider options include smoked chicken and kielbasa. All sliders beside the crab cake ($7) are priced at $5.

Looking for something more substantial? There’s a selection of sandos and burgers on the menu to accommodate meat and seafood lovers as well as vegans with a Beyond burger and a pulled jackfruit option.

Tacos range from $9-$14, with fillings including chicken, fried grouper and quesabirria made with stewed beef, fontina, crispy flat-top fried, chili consomme on corn tortillas. Each option comes with three tacos.

If you want all of your carbs to come from your beer, you can grab a garden bowl—house salad, chopped salad or citrus shrimp loaded with smoked shrimp, lettuce blend, avocado, shaved red onions, tomato, cucumber and citrus vinaigrette.

Don’t forget the massive tap list that is at your fingertips. If you’re not ready to dine-in, you can grab cans of brew and bites to go.

Coppertail Brewing Co. is located at 2601 E. 2nd Ave. in Ybor City.
