Sirata Beach Resort has announced the reopening of its longtime source for on-site dishes and drinks, Harry's Beach Bar. Keeping pace with the St. Pete Beach hotel's $15 million transformation, the newly renovated waterfront hangout, which first debuted in 1983, features an updated menu, more open-air bar space and a new coastal-casual design.

The tropical cocktails that Harry's is famous for — among them the Harry's Hurricane and Harry Navel — remain available, accompanying an extensive list of seasonal and local beers on tap. On the food side, patrons choose from offerings like wings, waffle fry poutine, salads and the signature Avocado Mango Tango burger.

"Harry's Beach Bar is a fun and casual place and we wanted the menu to continue to reflect the same lightheartedness experience that our guests have become acquainted with," said Dennis Tassler, executive chef for the Sirata, in a statement. "Guests can relax and indulge in refreshing cocktails, beer or wine while enjoying some of Harry's famous and savory dishes with family and friends."

Celebrating its location on the beach, the bar's refreshed look and feel is driven by blue and yellow hues, a large mural of a tarpon and sea-themed accents like a custom driftwood and rope chandelier. Communal and high-top tables with bar stools and lounge-style seating round out the improvements.

"The iconic beachfront bar has been a long time favorite spot in St. Pete Beach, and our goal was to create a design that would provide an even more enjoyable experience for our guests," said Jeff Abbaticchio, director of marketing. "The new look and feel of Harry's create a modernized entertainment experience allowing guests and locals the opportunity to enjoy the warm ocean breeze while sipping on their favorite cocktails."

Harry's continues to serve lunch, dinner and drinks from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
