Like downtown St. Pete's Urban Brew and BBQ, which regularly partners with local breweries on beer dinners, the nearby Urban Comfort will begin hosting recurring feasts of its own. The restaurant's first family dinner is set for 7 p.m. Aug. 31.
Chef Chris Perotti will serve family-style dishes alongside beverages provided by Lagunitas Brewing Company throughout the night. Two drinks are included with each $40 meal ticket, and the reservations-only dinner is limited to 20 seats.
In other Urban news, the brand revealed its plans to launch a third concept — a craft beer bottle shop — within the Grand Central District. The spot will offer growlers, sandwiches with house-cured meats and specialty retail items like pickles and sauces.
Upon the announcement last month, Urban Comfort has asked Facebook for input on what to call the new project. Urban Market and Urban Provisions are among the suggestions.
