Seattle-based MOD Pizza will feature buy-one-get-one free pies in honor of National Pizza Day. The offer is valid at the fast-casual pizza franchise's Lutz location from open to close Saturday, Feb. 9, when the food holiday is observed.
MOD's other Florida outposts, which are outside of the Bay area, will also participate.
Opened locally at the Cypress Creek Town Center last year, the franchise specializes in serving individual, artisan-style pizzas. They arrive dressed with everything from spicy chicken sausage to Asiago to balsamic fig glaze. Guests who decide to build their own pie have free reign with more than 30 toppings that don't cost extra — no matter how many they pick.
Franchisee BBX Capital operates the state's eight MOD sites, a count that includes Lutz.
