The newest arrival within Tampa Heights' mixed-use Armature Works building is about to launch. According to social media, Oak & Ola at 1901 N. Market St. will make its public debut Monday, Feb. 11.

Reservations can be made online.

James Beard Award-winning Ohio chef Anne Kearney has partnered with area restaurateurs Chris Arreola and John and Trudy Cooper — who are a few of the co-founders behind On Swann at Hyde Park Village — to create Oak & Ola. Gary Moran (Callaloo, Wimauma) serves as chef de cuisine of the Euro-American eatery.

Promising a "comfortable place with timeless design," Oak & Ola puts an emphasis on thoughtfully sourced, seasonal ingredients in executive chef Kearney's dishes, but also in its drinks. The restaurant, which hosted staff training last week, will offer local and regional craft beers, a curated wine selection and specialty cocktails.

Oak & Ola is the second restaurant inside Armature Works — with Steelbach, opened around this time in 2018, being the first. Expected to welcome a rooftop bar at some point, the popular destination is home to Heights Public Market as well.
