After 20-some-odd local breweries, you'd think I'd just about know how to make my own beer. But I don't; I'm not interested in making beer. I'm interested in drinking beer, and the people and culture behind DIY brews.
There are still a few hours left before my holiday auction closes tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 23 at 9 a.m. Eastern. The top bidder will join me on a trip through three tasting rooms in either Tampa or St. Pete — we'll taste some incredible beers, have some conversation and generally enjoy a few of the benefits of the Bay area's exploding craft-brew scene. Let's see if we can raise a little more money for The Children's Home while we're at it, OK? Thanks, and remember: time is running out!
