Holy Hog Barbecue will bring a loaded lineup of happenings to its downtown Tampa restaurant’s one-year anniversary bash on Friday.
In addition to food and drink specials, including a Funky Buddha tap takeover, patrons will get acquainted with three signature biscuits — the Redneck Cuban among them — from the barbecuery’s new breakfast menu. Live music from South Tampa native Matt Jeffries will be featured at 5 p.m. as well.
Since the celebration coincides with Patriot Day, one complimentary biscuit and coffee will be given to police officers, firefighters, EMTs, military personnel and support staff. The Tampa Police Benevolent Association, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue and Friends of Tampa Firefighters will also receive a percentage of the party’s sales.
