This month, the Florida ice pop-eration that is The Hyppo Gourmet Ice Pops will open to Tampa's Hyde Park Village.
Hyde Park Village marks the second Tampa location for the St. Augustine-based artisan popsicle company, which debuted to Ybor City back in July. Next to Bluemercury, The Hyppo will continue to serve the funky frozen flavors it's become known for at 702 S. Village Circle.
With more than 450 flavors, the pop shop uses all-natural fruits, herbs and cane sugar alongside seasonal ingredients to pull off its gourmet ice pops. Its most popular creations include melon and cracked pepper, cucumber lemon mint and Elvis — the winning combination of peanut butter, honey and banana.
Hyde Park's Hyppo has its grand opening scheduled for 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Jan. 19.
