Earlier this month, 3 Daughters Brewing was honored with a win during the national Dream Big Awards. The annual celebration, part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Summit, recognized the St. Petersburg-based brewery with the Emerging Business Achievement Award.
“This award is a testament to our amazing team and their dedication to making outstanding craft beer,” said 3 Daughters CEO Mike Harting in a statement. “We are honored to be chosen from the many small businesses that are making a difference by creating jobs and driving the local economy.”
Previous Dream Big winners have embraced innovation as well as entrepreneurship. Up against 17 other finalists from across the country, 3 Daughters was chosen by a panel of judges and accepted its award in D.C. Sept. 12.
According to Thomas J. Donohue, the head of the chamber, small-business owners are the nation’s backbone.
“We are proud to recognize these tremendous small businesses for all of their achievements,” Donohue said.
