At this rate, the Indie in Seminole Heights feels so familiar and friendly that it seems like it’s been on the block for 1,200 years, but, alas, it’s been just a dozen years of fine wines, the best beers, good company and even better live music.
On Wednesday, Oct. 20—already Wine Wednesday meaning 50% off bottles all night—the Tampa watering hole marks the occasion by giving away swag and offering specials to its regulars and those sneaking away for a midweek happy hour treat.
Indie owner Veronica Danko told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that the bar will also be tapping Weihenstephaner OG Lager for the indie OGs (there’s a free toast at 7 p.m.) plus firing up the grill for a burger and bratwurst cookout.
