Casual Italian restaurant chain Fazoli’s just executed a development deal with Tampa-based franchisee Carlos L. Saenz to open five Fazoli’s locations in Hillsborough and Pasco counties in early 2021.

This news was announced by Fazoli’s President and CEO Carl Howard earlier today.

Saenz is a seasoned franchisee who owns two Dairy Queens in the Tampa Bay area. His experience at a Fazoli’s a few years ago struck him differently than other casual eateries. After that knew he had to bring the Italian restaurant chain to the Tampa area.

Fazoli’s, originally from Kentucky, recently reached a similar development deal in Central Florida, with locations to open throughout the Orlando and Clermont areas in fall 2020.

It’s first Florida location in Pensacola closed last year, so it will be interesting to track the success of its multiple new locations throughout the sunshine state.

Wanna get a taste of Fazoli’s before the newest locations open in 2021? Visit the only Fazoli's in Florida at 238 W. Alexander St. in Plant City, which opened in 2017.
