This year, Jerk Hut is commemorating the end of slavery in the U.S. with a Juneteenth Brunch, at 1241 E. Fowler Ave from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

On Saturday, June 22, the restaurant is celebrating by expanding its brunch menu and cocktail options and hosting live performances by their reggae band along with a Juneteenth cultural presentation. 

All are welcome to take part in the event, as Jerk Hut hopes to inspire a reflection of the past and celebrate the future to come.
