Florida-based chain, Kobe Japanese Steakhouse has debuted a new location at 2773 66th St. N. in St. Petersburg. If you're familiar with the concept, you know that it is a hotbed for birthday parties, anniversaries and awkward first dates.

Diners can opt for a hibachi experience or stick to a sushi menu. If you're in for the excitement, your hibachi chef will create fires, chop your vegetables with insane speed and, this one you can bet on, throw an egg in their hat. If you're lucky, you'll get a piece of meat tossed into your mouth.

Anyway, if you need to spice up your dinner plans and want access to a full bar as well as dining entertainment, Kobe is the way to go. Hours for the new location are 5 p.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 5 p.m.-10:30 p.m. Friday, 4:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m. Saturday, 4:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. Sunday.
