The Roaring '20s conjure images of jazz musicians, flappers and those underground bars that emerged during Prohibition. And Tampa Bay's Repeal Day Week has returned to commemorate the end of the era's alcoholic beverage ban.

The annual cocktail-fueled celebration, hosted by the local chapter of the United States Bartenders' Guild, began Monday and plans to showcase 25-plus gatherings through Sunday. Some events, such as the multicourse dinners and popular gala, are open to the public. Check out a few of them below.

Damrak Gin at Datz From 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Datz in South Tampa is guiding guests on a delectable taste bud ride through a four-course cocktail-pairing dinner. New executive chef Keith Williamson will complement his courses — slow-braised short rib and baked Alaska among them — with mixologist and general manager Morgan Zuch's Damrak-inspired drinks, including her "Gourd-geous" pumpkin butter creation. Tickets are around $702616 S MacDill Ave, Tampa, 813-831-7000.

Heaven Hill at Haven Also in Tampa, SoHo's Haven will hold its spirits-pairing dinner, featuring Heaven Hill Distillery and brand ambassador Lynn House, from 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday. Alongside six courses from the restaurant's executive chef Chad Johnson, several offerings like Bernheim Wheat Whiskey, Pikesville Rye and Elijah Craig Bourbon will be highlighted. There's a 6:30 reception prior to the $150 dinner. 2208 W. Morrison Ave., Tampa, 813-258-2233.

Infinium Spirits Kick-Off Party Eat, drink and be merry from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday as semifinalists from seven national regions compete for the "Official Drink of Repeal Day" title at Tampa's Chester H. Ferguson Law Center. Partygoers, who purchase tickets online or at the door (they're $35 in advance), get to vote for their favorite, and admission comes with appetizers, cocktails, photo booth access and a free seminar. Nate Najar and Friends will provide the evening's musical backdrop. 1610 N. Tampa St., Tampa.

Celebrating the World of Cocktails Gala Period attire is encouraged for this stylish bash at The Cuban Club in Ybor City, where global cocktails served during Prohibition will be offered starting at 8 p.m. Saturday. Food, live music and entertainment will fill the venue as well. General admission tickets cost $100 online, while "First Class," or VIP, is $150. VIP ticket holders get in at 7, meet and greets with industry professionals and brand ambassadors, access to a special performance, and more. 2010 N. Avenida Republica De Cuba, Tampa.
