On Saturday, Nov. 17, load up the car and take a self-guided drive to nearly 10 working farms in Polk County. The Central Florida Farm Tour not only gives participants access to experiences that're normally not open to the public, but also allows them to embrace agricultural tradition at their own pace.
Passport tickets are available for purchase online. Stops include a Lake Wales aquaculture farm, a Haines City cattle and citrus operation, a Fort Meade poultry and livestock Farm, and a Davenport winery.
This year, the tour has also added a farmers' marketplace at International Market World with various merchandise and entertainment.
