Head out to the Seminole Heights Independent Bar and Cafe this evening to celebrate the launch of Local Dirt, Tampa Bay's newest voice for the community garden and sustainable food movements.
Local Dirt is an upcoming locally produced, quarterly magazine that's focused on spreading the word about local and sustainable food sources in our area, keeping up on community garden news, and connecting like-minded folks in the Bay area.
Tonight's event will also serve as a fundraiser for the magazine's inaugural issue, complete with a silent auction with lots of great items from local businesses and a live DJ. A portion of the Independent's bar sales will also go toward the magazine launch.
So come out and show your support for this growing movement that's changing the way we view and consume food!
