Look, don't be salty about Riverview's Philly Pretzel Factory pushing back its premiere date, OK? Because the long-awaited location from wife-and-husband team Michele and John Maffei has, at last, revealed its soft opening as 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2.
The couple's Philly Pretzel Factory is found at 11244 Boyette Road. A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newcomer will take place on Friday, Nov. 30, during the grand opening.
"We are incredibly excited and are looking forward to getting involved in the community," Michele told CL back in March.
The Maffeis, who are originally from Philadelphia, really know the Philly Pretzel Factory product. Founded in Philly in 1998, the pretzel bakery franchise specializes in everything from traditional soft pretzels to pretzel twists.
Cheesesteak pretzels are even on the menu, because of course.
Philly Pretzel Factory has 165-plus franchised locations throughout the country. Riverview houses the third site in Florida — and Tampa Bay's first.
