Wanna celebrate National Ice Cream Day while doing some good? Stop by The Dessert Spot leading up to the food holiday on July 14 — or on July 15, when Ice Cream Day is annually observed.
Either way, the South Tampa sweets shop inside Toffee to Go plans to donate a portion of next weekend's proceeds to Joshua House. The Lutz shelter supports abused, neglected and abandoned children across Tampa Bay.
The Dessert Spot is also set to keep the celebration going on July 18, when shop employees deliver ice cream and toppings to the kids who reside at Joshua House.
