Mano’s Restorante opens with menu of Italian favorites in Gulfport

Gulfport’s new Italian grill and pizza joint, Mano’s Restorante, hasn’t been open very long. But a quick scroll through the reviews on its Facebook page shows that the restaurant at 5802 28th Ave. S. is gaining a reputation for good grub as much as solid service.

Mano’s features booths and four-tops dressed with white tablecloths throughout its lovely digs — and carries a homestyle menu of favorites to match. There’s everything from lasagna Bolognese and thin-crust artisan pizzas to grilled double-cut pork chop and house-made meatballs.

Italian and California whites, reds and bubbles keep the house wines company, and yes, draft and bottled beers are on hand, too.

Best part? Customers have three ways to enjoy the restaurant: dine in, delivery or takeout. And, seriously, just look at that pizza. We’re droolin’ over here.

Mano’s operates daily after 4 p.m.
