Hold up, MasterChef. You mean we have to wait until next week to find out who gets sent home?

Sigh.

On Wednesday night, Episode 11 of the cooking reality competition series — set against the backdrop of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, home to one of host and judge Gordon Ramsay's restaurants — left the audience with "the rudest cliffhanger ever," as one viewer using Twitter's #MasterChef hashtag put it. So, yes, we all get to carry around the stressed-out feelings this latest episode conjured for a whole 'nother week. Yay!

After a blue-versus-red team challenge for Caesars Palace's 50th birthday, the Pressure Test elimination pitted two crowd favorites, Detroit minister Yachecia and Texas rancher Netwon, against each other in a head-to-head battle. That's because the captain of the losing blue team (which Tampa competitor Jeff Philbin was on, BTW) — Massachusetts substitute teacher Daniel — named them as this week's bottom home cooks. He probably should've put himself on the chopping block, considering he was leading the team and all, but whatevs. This is a competition.

Obviously, a number of viewers are understandably anxious about which one of the most-liked Season 8 contestants is leaving the MasterChef kitchen.

This isn't just a show to us, OK?

But you get it, right?
